Supporting excellence in healthcare at the Mater Hospital Sydney
When someone we love passes away, many families choose to honour their life in a meaningful and lasting way. A gift in memory to the Friends of the Mater Foundation is a way to celebrate that life while supporting compassionate care for others at the Mater Hospital.
Honouring a loved one
Deciding to ask friends and family to make a gift in memory in lieu of flowers to the Foundation, is a meaningful way to honour a loved one. These gifts, big or small, help fund patient care, equipment, research and services across the Mater, ensuring others receive the same care and support when it matters most.
Making a gift in Memory
If you have been invited to make a gift in memory of a loved one, we would be very grateful for your gift. Your generosity will help support the Mater Hospital in delivering exceptional, compassionate care to patients and their families. If you wish, you can also leave a personal message of remembrance when making your gift.

All donations of $2 or more to The Friends of the Mater are tax deductible.
Planning a service?
If you are arranging a funeral or memorial service, we have created a simple way to include a Gift in Memory to the Foundation for your loved one.
Our downloadable card can be included in an order of service or shared with family and friends. It includes a QR code linking directly to this page, allowing guests to make a gift in memory and leave a message of remembrance.
